Has held directorship positions in various companies involved in property and business acquisition/operation and development.
Advisor to the Pine Rivers Shire Council [now moreton shire]on commercial & industrial development and investment matters. Sale to council of 14 acres for industrial development, sold council solicitors other investment property.also.
Provided 40 acres of industrial land to A.P.M. for their new $40 million paper mill facility in Brisbane’s north side.
Project manager for 2 years for a shopping centre development in Brisbane. Obtained the Giant group of companies to set up their first store in Queensland, & other stores such as red rooster, sizzlers, video ezy, then on sold to Franklins Fresh.
Owned and operated the north side building and home display complex for North Brisbane.
Owned and operated Q.H.L. (Queensland House and Land) – House and land packages, house sales, land sales, etc.
Owned and operated Compac Realty dealing under license with development, commercial and industrial property and businesses.
There were also operations relating to insurance and finance broking
I have had extensive experience, directorships, ownerships, investments and control of unit construction; engineering and electrical companies; supermarkets; motels; liquor barns; nightclubs; restaurants, hotels; the greyhound and horse racing industry; international commodity trading; tourism; accommodation; publishing and advertising; transport and distribution; and retail businesses of various types.
