BRUCE HIGHWAY NORTH OF HOWARD AT THE FRASER COAST QLD CLAIMS 5 LIVES IN HORRIFIC CRASH
WITNESSES watched horrified as a 4WD drifted across the Bruce Highway yesterday, causing one of Queensland’s worst crashes for more than a decade.
Five people were killed, all in the Toyota Prado that crashed head-on into a B-double truck 8km north of Howard at Nulla Flat Creek, midway between Maryborough and Childers.
Five members of the Walker family were killed on their return from a trip away, less than an hour away from their Hervey Bay home when the crash happened at 3.45pm 30th Sunday.2012.
